Abstract
Description
The well-being of special education teachers is important for the success and sustainability of special education programs. This study explores the subjective well-being (SWB) of special education teachers in Sarawak by looking at their experiences, key challenges, and coping mechanisms. In-depth interviews with ten special education teachers were performed using qualitative phenomenological technique and snowball sampling. These insights have significant implications for policymakers, school administrators, and counsellors as they develop specific approaches that aim to improving the subjective well-being of special education teachers in Sarawak.
