Abstract

Description

This study aims to examine the relationship between career maturity and career decision-making self-efficacy (CDMSE) among university students in Malaysia. The study adopts a quantitative research design using a questionnaire that measures career maturity and CDMSE. Data will be collected through an online survey distributed via social media platforms. The sample is selected using a simple random sampling method, with the sample size determined based on Steven K. Thompson's formula. The instruments used include the Career Maturity Inventory-Revised (CMI-R) and the short form of the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale (CDMSE-SF), both of which have been validated for reliability and accuracy. This study is expected to provide valuable insights into the methodological approaches employed to understand the relationship between career maturity and CDMSE within the context of Malaysian university students.
