Abstract

Description

This study aims to investigate healthcare practices and nurses' perspectives across Sarawak, Malaysia, through primary data collection using survey questionnaires. The research focuses on understanding the roles of nurses in various healthcare settings, including both public and private hospitals and clinics in the region. The study utilizes a structured survey approach to gather data on nursing practices, challenges, and perceptions regarding patient care, work environment, and professional development. The questionnaires were distributed electronically to ensure wide participation, and a briefing session was conducted to ensure informed consent and clarify any questions. Sarawak was chosen as the research focus due to its vast geographic coverage, cultural diversity, and the presence of a wide range of healthcare institutions, providing a unique opportunity to explore nursing practices in both urban and rural contexts. The findings aim to contribute valuable insights into the healthcare system in Sarawak and enhance understanding of the nursing profession in the region.
