Abstract
Description
This study explores the working experiences of leadership roles in hybrid work environments, focusing on the challenges, practices, and future perspectives of hybrid work. The increasing adoption of hybrid work models, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, has reshaped workplace dynamics, requiring leaders to adapt their management strategies. This research aims to understand how leaders navigate hybrid work arrangements, balancing flexibility, communication, and team cohesion. Using a qualitative approach, the study will gather insights from leaders in Malaysia’s agency working in the insurance sector and leaders working in a manufacturing company, particularly in the drafting department through semi-structured interviews. By examining leadership experiences, the research seeks to identify key strategies for managing hybrid teams effectively. Additionally, the study will explore how transformational leadership influences engagement and adaptability in hybrid settings. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for organizations in refining hybrid work strategies, ultimately contributing to more sustainable and effective work models.
