Abstract
Description
This study examines how work overload, segmentation culture, and work engagement influence the work-life balance of employees in the private sector, specifically at Sarawak Oil Palms in Bintulu, Sarawak. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing data collected through questionnaires distributed to a sample of 361 employees from a total population of 6,000. The data analysis involves both descriptive and inferential statistics, using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Descriptive statistics will analyze demographic information, while Spearman’s Correlation will explore the relationships between the independent variables (work overload, segmentation culture, and work engagement) and the dependent variable, work-life balance. The findings highlight the significant factors affecting work-life balance, and this study also emphasizes the importance of work-life balance for employees. It serves as a reminder of how crucial it is for organizations to recognize and address these factors to foster a supportive work environment that enhances employee well-being and productivity.
