| dc.description | This study aims to explore the correlation between compensation, promotion, supervision and turnover intentions of Sarawak banking employees. Quantitative research methods were adopted to collect research data through questionnaires on questionnaire on Google Form and also a hardcopy questionnaire. This study comprised 290 staffs working in four reputable bank, including Maybank Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, RHB Bank, and CIMB Bank in Sarawak. Statistical Package of the Social Sciences (SPSS) software was used to analyze the data. Both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were applied to summarize the data and examine the relationships between variables. The distribution of the background and responses of the respondents was summarized through descriptive statistics, and then Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to test the hypotheses. The results show that there is a strong negative correlation between independent variables such as salary, promotion and supervision and the dependent variable of turnover intention. Among these factors, promotion is regarded as the most significant one influencing an workers’ willingness to stay or leave the company. Furthermore, this study offers meaningful insights and practical recommendations that can benefit banking institutions, human resource practitioners, and future researchers reduce employee turnover intention in Sarawak's banking sector. | |
