| dc.description | This study examines the relationship between transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style, and laissez-faire leadership style and employees’ job commitment in a private sector organization. The study involved a total of 121 employees from a private company in Kuching, Sarawak. Using Spearman correlation analysis, the findings revealed a strong and positive relationship between transformational leadership style and employees’ job commitment. Transactional leadership style also showed a strong positive correlation, while laissez-faire leadership style demonstrated a moderate but significant relationship with job commitment. The study concludes that transformational leadership is the most effective in enhancing employee commitment. Several recommendations for future research and leadership development practices are discussed. | |
