Abstract
Description
The agricultural industry has increasingly embraced technological advancements to enhance productivity and efficiency. The Greenhouse IoT Monitoring System Using MQTT addresses key challenges in greenhouse management by utilizing the lightweight MQTT protocol to facilitate real-time monitoring of critical environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and soil moisture. Maintaining these conditions at optimal levels is essential for ensuring healthy plant growth and resource efficiency. Traditional greenhouse monitoring systems often rely on manual processes or outdated automation, which lack the precision and responsiveness required to adapt to rapidly changing conditions. These limitations result in resource inefficiencies and compromised crop quality. By integrating IoT sensors and leveraging MQTT for low-latency communication, this system provides reliable, continuous data transmission and supports proactive, data-driven decision-making. The project implements a user-friendly, web-based dashboard powered by Python, enabling greenhouse operators to visualize real-time data, receive automated alerts, and optimize environmental control. The system's scalability and adaptability to greenhouses of varying sizes make it a versatile solution for modern agriculture. This innovative approach minimizes operational costs, enhances resource management, and boosts agricultural productivity, offering a significant leap forward in sustainable farming practices.
