UNIMAS Scienceploration 2026 : Activity Module

Abstract

The Scienceploration Camp 2026 is an initiative organised by the Centre for Pre-University Studies, UNIMAS (PPPU), designed to foster interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among secondary school students. The camp offers a structured programme incorporating inquiry-based learning, hands'on experiments, project-based assignments, and interactive activities in an immersive environment that promotes discovery, creativity, and the development of essential 21st-century skills.This programme also demonstrates PPPU’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. Furthermore, the camp aims to advance the Sarawak Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 by contributing to increased student enrolment in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Students are invited to participate in engaging hands-on activities specifically crafted to spark curiosity and interest, with curated step-by-step methods and objectives designed to lead students to ask questions, explore, and think critically about the world and environment around them. By navigating and undertaking the journey through the activities outlined within this book, participants will not only deepen their understanding of STEM disciplines but also cultivate the skills, perspectives, and experiences for becoming impactful future contributors to society and their communities.
