| dc.description | The Hospital Patient Appointment Portal (HPAP) is a web-based healthcare management system developed to improve the efficiency of patient appointment scheduling at UNIMAS Medical Center. The system is designed to allow patients with referral letters to bypass the triage process and directly access specific services such as radiology, pharmacy, or X-ray. Built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), HPAP integrates real-time appointment booking, centralized patient data access, and role-based dashboards for patients, doctors, and administrators. The system enhances collaboration among departments, reduces administrative workload, and improves patient satisfaction. Usability testing using SUS and UEQ instruments confirmed the system’s effectiveness, ease of use, and positive user experience. HPAP represents a scalable solution for modernizing hospital operations and improving healthcare delivery. | |
