Abstract
Description
This project focuses on enhancing educational engagement through the development of a gamified Virtual Reality (VR) experience, PathoSphere, designed for the UNIMAS Anatomy and Pathology Museum. PathoSphere integrates game mechanics, such as interactive challenges, real time feedback and achievement system, to create an immersive and interactive learning environment. The system enables users to explore anatomical models, solve quizzes and engage in surgical simulations, all tailored to foster critical thinking and practical knowledge. Using the Agile methodology, the project followed iterative phases, including planning, designing, development, testing and release. The design prioritizes user-friendly navigation, personalized difficulty levels and interactive elements to ensure accessibility and engagement for diverse learners. Tools such as Unity and Blender were employed to develop the VR environment, optimized for use with Pico 4 hardware. By addressing limitations in traditional static VR systems, PathoSphere offers an innovative approach to STEM education, transforming complex medical concepts into manageable, gamified tasks. This project contributes to the field of educational technology by presenting a dynamic and adaptable VR solution for anatomy and pathology education, enhancing knowledge retention and learner motivation
