| dc.description | The Smart Task Management System (STMS) is a web-based platform designed to enhance productivity, collaboration, and task management among University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) students. Managing academic responsibilities, group projects, and extracurricular commitmentscanbechallengingwithoutanefficient system. STMSaddressesthese challenges by integrating key features such as task prioritization and team collaboration tools to help students efficiently manage their academic workload. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the design, development, and evaluation of STMS, following the Agile methodology to ensure flexibility and continuous improvement based on user feedback. The system is developed with a user-centric approach, focusing on an intuitive interface and robust backend functionality to support scalability and security. The evaluation phase involved usability testing and student feedback, demonstrating the system’s effectiveness in improving task organization, time management, and group collaboration. The findings indicate that STMS significantly enhances academic efficiency, with students reporting improved task tracking, deadline management, and teamwork. By providing a structured yet adaptable framework for academic task management, STMS serves as a valuable tool for students in higher education. Future enhancements will focus on expanded mobile accessibility and integration with university learning management systems to further improve user experience and system capabilities. | |
