| dc.description | This project presents the design and development of Rosecdy Kitchen: A Web-Based Booking Management System, aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of a small Sarawak Kek Lapis business. The primary objective of this system is to provide a user-friendly platform that allows customers to view products, place orders, and upload payment receipts online, while enabling the business owner to manage bookings, track payments, and generate monthly income reports. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL and is designed for ease of use by both customers and administrators. Key features include user authentication, product management, shopping cart functionality, manual payment verification, and administrative reporting. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology was adopted to ensure iterative development and continuous user feedback. Functional and reliability testing confirmed that the system meets its intended goals. While the system is optimized for desktop use and currently supports only English, future improvements may include mobile responsiveness, multilingual support, and integration with real-time payment gateways. Overall, this system demonstrates how digital tools can support small food businesses in managing orders more efficiently and improving customer experience. | |
