This study investigates the relationship between digitalisation, job quality, and subjective well-being among employees in the banking sector. As organisations adopt digital tools and systems, it becomes essential to understand their impact on employee experiences. The study aims to examine whether digitalisation significantly influences subjective well-being and job quality, and whether job quality mediates the relationship between digitalisation and well-being. A quantitative research approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires from 80 banking employees. Spearman’s correlation and PROCESS Macro Model 4 were used to analyse the data. The results revealed a strong positive relationship between digitalisation and subjective well-being, and a moderate positive relationship between digitalisation and job quality. Mediation analysis showed that job quality partially mediates the relationship between digitalisation and subjective well-being. The findings suggest that organisations and HR practitioners should focus on improving job quality alongside digitalisation efforts to promote employee well-being and productivity.
