Abstract

Description

The goal of this project is to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system that automates plant care in order to address the issue of indoor plant care for people with hectic schedules. Even while indoor plants are well-known for their aesthetic and environmental advantages, they need constant care, particularly regarding lighting and watering. However, a lot of people lack the requisite expertise or find it difficult to find the time to care for plants. Often, existing solutions are either complex or not designed for indoor use. The proposed method uses fuzzy logic to automate watering based on real-time data from temperature and soil moisture sensors in order to overcome these difficulties and guarantee that plants get the proper amount of water without running the risk of being overwatered or underwatered. Additionally, users can customise watering for individual plants based on their specific requirements using a predetermined profile-based setting. This method gives plant owners a dependable and effective way to keep their plants in ideal conditions while lowering the need for physical intervention. The system guarantees continuous care with features like automated changes and real-time monitoring, making it simple for customers to maintain the health of their plants despite a hectic schedule.
