This study aims to investigate the relationship between perceived social support and psychological well-being among Malaysian undergraduate students during their final year projects. Utilizing a survey method, data were collected from a sample of 166 students and analyzed using quantitative techniques. The study employed the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure perceived social support and the Ryff Scales of Psychological Well-Being (RPWB) to assess psychological well-being. The findings revealed that high levels of perceived social support are positively correlated with better psychological well-being, indicating that students who felt supported by family, friends, and academic peers experienced less stress and higher levels of happiness and life satisfaction. The research also examined demographic factors such as gender, age, race, socioeconomic status, and residential status, revealing significant differences based on age, academic performance, and residential status. Younger students, high achievers, and those living in hostels reported higher levels of perceived social support. These findings highlight the crucial role of social support networks in enhancing students' psychological well-being and academic success during this challenging period. The study suggests that educational institutions should focus on fostering strong social support systems to improve students' overall psychological well-being and academic performance.
