Abstract
Description
The university environment plays a significant role in shaping students’ emotional and psychological well-being. However, many students struggle with expressing their thoughts, concerns, and emotions openly due to fear of judgment or stigma which often leads to suppressed feelings and unaddressed issues. To address this challenge, this project proposes VoiceSpace: A platform for Anonymous Student Confessions, a web-based system tailored for UNIMAS students to provide a safe, inclusive, and anonymous space for their experiences. The platform incorporates an interactive comment section, real-time feedback through upvotes, downvotes and a polling feature to foster engagement. To enhance user experience, VoiceSpace also implements robust privacy measures such as one-time email authentication and end-to-end encryption to protect users’ identities. By leveraging modern technologies, this system seeks to empower students to voice their thoughts without fear, promote peer support, and encourage healthier communication within the university community. VoiceSpace aspires to be meaningful initiative contributing to mental well-being, social connectedness, and a culture of openness among students.
