Home is one of the basic needs for human today, which leads to home renovation becoming another necessity to ensure the comfort, safety and functionality of living spaces. However, the current practice or finding contractors is more towards the social media platform like Facebook and Telegram lacks transparency, accountability and structured evaluation mechanism. Issues such as manipulated reviews, incomplete contractor information, and unclear communication channels often result in poor client experiences and substandard project outcomes. This project, MyTukang - Home Renovation Client-Contractor System, aims to address these challenges by introducing a centralized, web-based platform that connects clients and contractors while promoting fairness and trust. The key features include verified contractor registration, mutual rating and review capabilities with admin oversight, quotation request management, and structured contractor profile viewing. The system also integrates external links for contractor credential checking, enhancing informed decision-making. This project applied the Waterfall methodology, which a development process focuses on a structured, phase-by-phase approach, to ensure the clarity and precision in meeting the user requirements. The key features of the system include a user-friendly interface, secure data handling, and tools to enhance the trust and transparency between users.
