This study examined the relationship between multicultural self-efficacy (MSE) and conflict resolution styles (CRS) among undergraduate students at the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development (FCSHD), UNIMAS. Guided by Bandura’s Social Cognitive Theory, a correlational research design was employed, involving 132 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using the Cultural Intelligence Scale (CQS) and the Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory-II (ROCI-II). Descriptive findings revealed a high level of MSE among participants, with integrating and compromising as the most preferred CRS. ANOVA indicated no significant differences in MSE across academic programs but revealed significant differences by ethnic groups. Correlation analysis showed significant positive relationships between MSE and four CRS styles: integrating (r = .457, p < .001), obliging (r = .332, p < .001), dominating (r = .241, p = .005), and compromising (r = .260, p = .003). The avoiding style was excluded due to low reliability. These findings suggest that students with higher MSE are more likely to engage in constructive conflict management. This study highlights the importance of integrating culturally responsive training in counselling education and supports the inclusion of multicultural competencies in higher education.
