Abstract
Description
Traditional voting systems often rely on centralized authorities, making them susceptible to fraud, manipulation, and inefficiencies. Issues such as vote tampering, high operational costs, and delays in result processing are highlighted. To address these challenges, this project explores the potential of blockchain technology in creating a decentralized voting system. By leveraging blockchain’s immutability and transparency, this project aims to develop a secure and verifiable voting platform for university elections. The system will ensure voter anonymity, prevent unauthorized access, and streamline the election process through digital verification methods. A mobile application will be designed to facilitate voting, while an administrative interface will manage election details and candidate registration. Through this initiative, the project seeks to modernize student elections, enhancing trust, accessibility, and efficiency while demonstrating how blockchain can improve electoral processes in academic environments.
