| dc.description | This study investigates the relationship between work-life balance, organizational culture, psychological well-being, and job satisfaction among employees in the private sector in Sarawak, Malaysia. Job satisfaction is a critical element in human resource management, directly influencing productivity, retention, and organizational commitment. A total of 134 respondents from three private manufacturing organizations participated in this study. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS Version 27, employing descriptive statistics, reliability testing, and Pearson correlation analysis. The results show that all three independent variables have a significant positive relationship with job satisfaction. Among them, organizational culture demonstrates the strongest correlation (r = .860), followed by work-life balance (r = .791), and psychological well-being (r = .699). These findings support the application of Affective Events Theory, highlighting the importance of employees’ emotional responses to workplace experiences. The study emphasizes the need for organizations to foster a supportive culture, promote work-life integration, and prioritize psychological well-being to enhance overall job satisfaction. Recommendations for future research and policy implementation are also provided. | |
