This study aimed to investigate the impact of binge-watching on executive functioning among undergraduate students in Malaysia. This research study explores specifically the gender differences, relationships, and predictors of binge-watching and executive functioning among 112 undergraduate students in Malaysia. The data was analyzed using SPSS version 26.0, encompassing demographic information, gender differences, correlation analyses, and predictor evaluation. The statistical analysis of independent t- test, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression has been used. the findings reveal no significant gender differences between binge-watching and executive functioning. However, a significant positive correlation between binge-watching and executive functioning among undergraduate students, suggesting that excessive binge-watching can negatively impact executive functioning skills such as plan management, time management, organization, emotional regulation, and behavioural regulation. Also, the study identifies time management and emotional regulation as significant predictors of binge-watching addiction. Good time management and emotional regulation predict lower levels of binge-watching addiction, indicating that students who manage their time well and regulate their emotions effectively are less likely to engage in problematic binge-watching behaviour. The study reveals a significant relationship between binge- watching and executive functioning, suggesting the need for targeted interventions to enhance cognitive health in students.
