Abstract

Description

The Smart Classroom Management System in Educational Institutions automation tackles the critical challenge of energy inefficiency in classrooms, where light and fan are frequently left on when the rooms are unoccupied. This report presents a comprehensive overview of the design, implementation and testing of a system that utilize Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Arduino-based sensors to monitor classroom occupancy and automatically control electricity energy usage. Resulting the system that successfully automates the control of classroom appliances, improving efficiency and contributing to energy management. During the implementation phase, the system underwent rigorous testing to assess its functionality, including usability and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with the initial design objectives. The significance of this project lies in its potential to serve as a practical example for promoting energy-efficient practices in schools, fostering awareness among students and staff about responsible electrical energy use.
