| dc.description | Mental health challenges among university students are a growing concern, often exacerbated by limited mental health literacy, where symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress are misunderstood as typical academic pressures. Untreated mental health issues can significantly impact students’ academic performance, social relationships, and overall well-being. To address this pressing issue, MindFullness: UNIMAS Mental Health Assessment & Support System was developed to provide a comprehensive, accessible, and user-friendly platform tailored to the needs of UNIMAS students. The platform integrates the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS-21) to help users assess their mental well-being and offers actionable insights. Additionally, it includes a community forum for peer support, educational blogs to promote mental health awareness, and a helpline directory connecting users to professional resources. By fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, the system aims to bridge the gap between students and accessible mental health care. Built using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, the platform emphasizes scalability, reliability, and accessibility, ensuring seamless operation across various devices. This holistic approach seeks to empower students to recognize, understand, and address their mental health challenges while fostering a sense of community and shared resilience | |
