| dc.description | Mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress are increasingly prevalent among children and adolescents, with studies indicating that a significant number of young individuals experience diagnosable or subclinical mental health disorders. Despite the importance of early intervention and education, mental health topics remain underrepresented in primary school curricula. To address this gap, MyMindaHub is a web app that provides Year 5 primary students with a fun platform for learning about mental health. The app includes educational modules on key mental health topics, quizzes to reinforce learning, and a self-assessment tool that supports early detection of mental health concerns. With its child-friendly interface and interesting content, MyMindaHub fosters a supportive environment where students better understand their emotions, practice self-care, and recognize when to seek help. Additionally, the platform also acts as a valuable resource for educators, parents, and counselors, enabling the introduction and discussion of mental health in an accessible and relatable way. By promoting early mental health literacy and reducing stigma, MyMindaHub empowers students to prioritize their well-being. Its scalable design supports future expansion to additional topics and grade levels, contributing to the broader goal of improving mental health awareness in primary schools. | |
